In Matthew Chapter 7 Jesus Christ teaches that not everyone who says they belong to Him will be allowed to enter into Heaven. This is one of the most important but frightening realities concerning the Christian faith. Over and over, the Bible teaches that there is such thing as counterfeit faith - and God does not desire for any of us to live in confusion about this eternal issue. Whether it be dead religion, trusting in works or empty whispers of loyalty to Jesus Christ, rest assured that not everyone who calls himself a Christian truly is. The Book of James takes us chapter by chapter deeper into the mirror which shows us the authenticity of our faith - or the lack thereof. Practically applied and written without compromise, the epistle of James reveals the living dynamics of true faith, and the process by which God purifies it. Everyone listening to these messages would do well to examine their own lives, rather than the lives of anyone else. As we get right with God, let us also get real with Him!
